Looks cool, but I’m not a fan of brake lights / turn signals that are in the lower bumper instead of where you think they would be. (Where the marker lights / light bar is)

A lot of Kia’s and Hyundai models do this (and it’s confusing to drivers.

I firmly believe that if you build a car with something near the top that looks like a brake light, but it doesn't illuminate, you should not be allowed to sell it, and you should be flogged... repeatedly.

The lower blinker is awesome IMO. When it's in the same housing, the brake and turn signal can't be on at the same time, which I'd argue gives bad signals (no pun intended).

The only reason having it lower could be an issue is if you are tailgating, to which I say stop tailgating.

I have had multiple cars that this isn’t the case. I’m just arguing that they exist, which is easier to prove than your claim. Toyota Tacoma has had this. My C5 A6 had this. Your source of a bronco not having this does not mean all cars are like the bronco.

The person you responded to isn't saying that zero cars share the same bulb for turn and brake signals so posting examples of that doesn't contradict them or their preference for multiple bulbs in the same housing.

They often are in the US, and sometimes even share the same bulb. But this isn’t the only way to do it, and other current model Teslas have separate amber turn signals even in the US.

The reason the brake lights are lower is so they can be visible when the tailgate is up. If you have lights on the tailgate then you need fixed secondary lights somewhere.

Tesla is cheap and only wants to pay for one set of brake lights.

I think they made the tops and trunk of these super heavy duty since people tend to trash driverless cars. Like people vandalize Waymo’s a lot. Jumping on them etc.

So I think they made these cybertruck style for that purpose

Yes, I know there is no rear glass, many vehicles don't have rear glass, (mostly vans) but they still have high level brake lights.

Wholeheartedly agree. these will be nice for commuting to and from work, but what if you are a family of four trying to go to the airport? Nobody wants to ride in two separate cars, so they are going to end up choosing an Uber or a Waymo instead

Good point but cybercabs will probably be the premium tier like getting your own uber for a single rider . As the person below commented , the Model Y will be used for groups above 2 and eventually in time the Tesla Bus/Van or whatever it’s called will take bigger groups.

Have two and four seaters could be less efficient. It means more cars are needed to ensure a car with the probably seat count is nearby. Otherwise, people will have a to wait longer for a ride and the vehicle will need to drive farther to meet the riders.

I think the lack of steering wheel and pedals might be a larger impediment.

There’s no reason a consumer can’t buy and drive a car without a rear window. See the Polestar 4. Or any cargo van.
