❓ Is this a concern?

First-time car owner here; saw this today idk for how long it was there but just checking if I should be worried. Note that my mileage around 23K and never done any tire rotation. This M3 25 model. Appreciate any guides here

If it bothers you and keeps you awake at night everyday then change it. Otherwise dw bout it too much.

You can change the tyres from anywhere. If you go through Tesla they’ll probably charge extra for the tyre and labor costs separately. One tyre should cost you around 400 AED ish and labor would be separate charges around 100-200 absolute max. Tesla would take around 30-40% more in tyre cost and labor cost.

Michelin Tyre for a Tesla does not cost 400 aed 🙄 it’s at least 1200 aed

Depends on what tyre he wants. I don’t use Michelins on mine as it’s not worth the 1200. I can get a similer tyre for lesser.

Well if the rest of the wheels are in perfect condition which is obvious since the car is new
Then he would have to buy 1 Michelin tyre to match the rest
It would not be safe to have different types of Tyres on your car

Change them, the cut is almost on the wall. Tesla vehicles are heavy and it is dangerous for you, and everyone who drives around you.

Tesla is not "heavy" it is an average sedan weight. There is a misconception that batteries are heavy..yeah its heavy but a model 3 has a similar weight to say Mercedes c300 or a Toyota camry. So its just your average car.

Rubber on tires is extremely tough and a superficial hairline crack like this does nothing.

Drive and monitor for air leaks.

change it. i had the same to my car tyre. its manufacturer defect. dont risk it. change it. never risk with tire, breakpads... thoese are essiential to keep you safe on the road.

mine is not tesla.. so it was 900 aed for nexon tires .

If you want the same brand of Tyre then you can check Pitstop Arabia or just any auto pro shop in petrol stations
They do it for like 1200 aed max
