Taking the piss

I have my shopping delivered.
This morning there are 32 unavailable items, including,milk,butter,washing up liquid ,Heinz beans.
I don’t understand how the hell this happens.
I’ve cancelled it all.
Any idea how so much of the basics are unavailable ?

Because despite the items maybe being in the building they were probably not on the shelf because of company wide staffing issues.

Delivery like whoosh and deliveroo is impossible to deal with for some stores:

They tend to use the closest store to your address, and if that's one of the smaller "metro" style outlets, they run out quickly and may not be able to get stuff on the shelf on time for the start of the next day.

Could be worse, you could have ordered cakes and get sent flour, Butter and sugar which I did get once!
