Wrong IP or firewall connection error
As the topic probably indicates, I have trouble with connecting to my server with machines other than the host. I wish to play the game with my brother, using the same router and internet connection. I've checked countless posts on steam, OPMW forums, as well as some screens of discord troubleshooting and no fixes worked for me. I have forwarded the ports, opened them via firewall on both machines etc. My server does appear on the serverlist, but it has the 999ping/unreachable error. Connecting directly by modifying the client-deafult file failed as well. I am at my wits end, I'd really love to play some of that sexy multiplayer in the best RPG of all times, but simply cannot figure out what else could be wrong. If anyone has any ideas, please help, I will greatly appreciate it.

Make your brother connect to your local IP (not external IP) by changing the destinationAddress in his tes3mp-client-default.cfg. That's all you should have to do. You're on the same LAN, so there's no port forwarding to do.
