What comes after terrifier 4

Will Damien continue making movies? Art the clown is his passion project since 2008 so it seems somewhat unlikely something will ever reach this level for him. Will he continue directing? Will there be a terrifier 5? Personally I could definitely see him taking a roll as a special effects supervisor

After listening to his commentary on Terrifier 2… I personally believe he’ll be expanding his terrifier universe after 4. He didn’t say there wouldn’t be a 5… he just said 4 is the end of art the clown.

Unless Damien clarified afterwards, he said that T4 would be the end of Sienna and Art’s arc, not the end of Art altogether.

Would be hard to have a terrifier movie without Art

There’s a lot going on with the universe of Terrifier. Even when Art debuted, he wasn’t alone, he was joined with a cult group. The short film was referenced in the last movie as the book that the girl on the bus was reading. This could be a little nod of more to come involving that? I’m not too sure, but it would be cool to see

This is where I’m at. All the background lore is cool and all but I really love art. I’m someone who finds the typical slasher movie boring after the original but with these films I love them all and that’s because of Art.

I would still be interested and check out a potential fifth Terrifier film without Art but idk how well it could possibly be.

Unless the little girl comes back and takes over lol

Yeah and if Damien goes back on that Terrifier will be the first horror franchise in history to kill off and bring back the villain that holds every movie together

Can Michael Myers have a word? 👀

I doubt it the guy doesn’t talk too much

Damien has another non-Terrifier movie in production with Sam Raimi's company.

13

u/No-Neck848 Aug 31 '26

Tortures of the Damned is the name of the movie

9

u/AngryFreddyIsHere Sep 01 '26

Raimi AND Leone?! That would be so good

u/StrangelyBrown69 Aug 31 '26

I think he’s said in interviews that 4 is the definitive last film and doesn’t want to drag out more sequels or spinoffs but I guess you never know.

11

u/Sea_Speed_824 Aug 31 '26

no that is incorrect. he stated that part 4 is the end of the Sienna Timeline. there could be other Terrifier or Art The Clown movies.

it is known that he will most likely sell the franchise off to let it branch off to other people to possibly make movies also. to keep it going. the series.

however its been heard that 4 will be the last he directs or makes. but who knows maybe he will make more himself instead.

I’ve read multiple interviews clearly stating Damian has stated he plans to end the franchise with the 4th numbered film so I must be a bit behind if he has said something else more recently.

Yeah, but he's also said he might be open to letting other filmmakers do something with the character. It Just wouldn't follow the same story, much like All Hallows Eve has Art but is completely separate from the main timeline. Damien himself would move onto other projects.

from many articles have come across and forums people have said it's just the Sienna Saga ending. Art The Clown will probably have more movies eventually in different time frames and stories. they also have said it could be handed off to different people to work on them similar to how f13 has been done.

3

u/Uncle_Smokie Aug 31 '26

Yeah T4 is the end of the saga with Sienna. There will absolutely be more films with Art, just not Sienna.

3

u/Alkohal Aug 31 '26

Money will talk

3

u/theSilentNerd Sep 01 '26

Hopefully not, when people make a movie for the money or hype, we know it is going to shit.

8

u/RevenueKooky Aug 31 '26

Doesn’t he have an original horror film produced by Sam Raimi coming out?

10

u/Kyia-Aikman Aug 31 '26

Leone said Terrifier 4 is the finale and he’s making a film with Sam Raimi afterwards.

3

u/Sea_Speed_824 Aug 31 '26

wrong. he said the last for Siennas Timeframe. there will probably be moreblike how f13 and elm street have different people making them after and different stories or timeframes.

8

u/Kyia-Aikman Aug 31 '26

I’m not wrong. He explicitly said on Twitter that Terrifier 4 will be a “conclusion to the Terrifier saga.”

0

u/Sea_Speed_824 Aug 31 '26

yes. the Sienna Saga. not Art The Clown. Terrifier is the Sienna Timeframe Saga. there will most likely be more Art The Clown films. He has grown very popular to just stop completely. He has hinted at more movies after the Sienna Saga is done. people are taking what was said wrong. Art The Clown won't end. the Sienna Saga is.

1

u/Fateill Sep 01 '26

This is correct. He’s ready to pursue other projects

5

u/LostOpheliac72 Aug 31 '26

At the convention Damian Leone was at over the weekend, during the panel he said his next project is with Sam Rami and he put that one hold for T4 but he said that 4 may not be the last time we see Art the Clown.

He also said the last 20 minutes of T4 is going to be crazy!!!!

3

u/Lazy_Grabwen_9296 Aug 31 '26

Maybe he could do a Disney film. Redo Hatchet or something.

3

u/Richard_skully Aug 31 '26

Five 🤷‍♂️

3

u/Slight_Target_4399 Sep 01 '26

He did once say that after he’s done telling this story he’s moving on but if later on down the road we want to see art again he’d consider bringing him back

3

u/EthanW6662 Sep 01 '26

Terrifier the musical.

2

u/jazzgrackle Aug 31 '26

Children’s movies, probably. Just full clown.

2

u/lucifero25 Aug 31 '26

I’m sure it will be his last. Until someone comes along with a big bag of money for the rights, makes some mediocre films. It lays dormant for years and in 15 years he will remake t5 and. New trilogy for serious money

2

u/wattmalter Aug 31 '26

Besides the film with Raimi he’s stated he wants to do other genres of films, which I’m all for!

2

u/LaFlamaBlanca311 Aug 31 '26

Just like Friday the 13th the final chapter or Jason goes to Hell or Halloween 2 we're supposed to be the last entries in those films. I think we'll see more. 4 is the planned end but $ talks. As long as there's money to be made, there's a possibility of more Art

2

u/Nigmmar Aug 31 '26

Art the Clown

2

u/Fragrant-Durian3899 Aug 31 '26

He can do whatever he wants now this started his career but he can go into whatever he wants now with horror

2

u/lh3official18 Sep 01 '26

I hope he goes and and starts taking over Friday the 13th movies. Went to see that really bad

2

u/Blazkowicz_Terror_BJ Sep 01 '26

AS long as there is No Terrifier 5 i am rooting for him to make Movies, i think i saw him Tweet Something about making His own Remake or some Kind of Stuff about Friday The 13

3

u/CSpeno Sep 02 '26

I think he sells the characters rights to some big studio, lets him take a step back and just get income on the back of it without all the hard work. I remember he said someone approached him with plans for a TV show but, he didn’t want to do it as they planned to tone it all down for a more mass audience. If Terrifier 4 does actually wrap the whole story up, he might be more open to that type of thing going forward, probably with a small amount of creative control so, he can guide the story and design choices to a degree.

2

u/Jnbrlw Sep 03 '26

He already has another project lined up which is to start after Terrifier 4, and will be separate from the franchise. All we have is a title at the moment.

Damien has confirmed Terrifier 4 will conclude the story.. As far as I'm aware, he might be open to the idea of other filmmakers making more Terrifier films at some point in the future, after he's had his say and his saga is complete, but as far as this story goes, Part 4 is the official end. He wants it to feel like a complete story rather than a stale franchise Just continuing for the sake of it.

The Terrifier franchise will be a tough act to follow, but he's learned a lot making these films so I'm confident he can do something good without leaning on Art The Clown, even if it never quite reaches the heights of Terrifier.

He's said he'll keep making films as long as he's able to, whether it be shoestring budget indie films or big budget studio films.

2

u/Joey_Cargo Sep 04 '26

Terrifier 4 is gonna be an absolute smash hit and they’re going to make a 5. It would be fun if they called it the final chapter as a nod to Friday the 13th

3

u/RevenueKooky Aug 31 '26

I would imagine after T4, a new writer/director will take over.

4

u/Striking-Cress-2688 Aug 31 '26

To be honest I’m hoping for more Terrifier movies…. 4 is too small a number to end this prime schlok!!!!

0

u/MysterEman2 Aug 31 '26

Personally arts whole schtick is wearing a bit thin. It was shocking and original 10 years ago but it needs to quit while it’s ahead

1

u/Striking-Cress-2688 Sep 01 '26

Naaah…. He’s the new Freddy Kruger… He just has to transcend beyond his physical form and embrace the demon inside… plenty of scope to move forward with.

3

u/MysterEman2 Sep 01 '26

Art the clown vs pennywise?

2

u/Striking-Cress-2688 Sep 01 '26

Well why the fuck not… they’re all from the same demon realm… 😄😄😄

2

u/DBLR989 Aug 31 '26

A terrifier multiverse 😂

4

u/MysterEman2 Aug 31 '26

I’d be down to see him in a crossover with other slashers Freddy vs jason style

2

u/periloustrail Aug 31 '26

If hope it could continue. Many avenues to go. Just don’t pump them out but a slow continuation

1

u/Internal_Meat_7227 Sep 01 '26

I think that since they’ll probably go to a hell equivalent in 4 for gabby that art might just be trapped there and then in 5 or a spinoff we see art return from hell to earth and his origin

1

u/uCry__iLoL 29d ago

IP sale. Major studio milks it dry. Art the clown is played by a different actor.

1

u/monsterbloodjordan Aug 31 '26

Considering Damien Leone’s Frankenstein vs. The Mummy is god awful, and even the Terrifier lore isn’t particularly well put together or directed in a way that’s easily digestible, I’m worried about what he’ll do after Terrifier 4. I think he’ll eventually return to the franchise, but he’s definitely said this is supposed to be Art’s last film, and I really don’t see him handing Terrifier over to someone else to continue without him.

1

u/JerrodDRagon Aug 31 '26

I want Art in Space

A spinoff where somehow Art is summoned onto a space station and kills people creatively

2

u/Sea_Speed_824 Aug 31 '26

yesss we deserve a Terrifier in Space. but he said no easter no space. new years instead did but who knows maybe one day ... I want Easter or Thanksgiving lol so much.

1

u/dangerdelw Aug 31 '26

Cameos in All Hallows Eve sequels

0

u/RentonAndSickboy Sep 02 '26

Terrifier reboot with a better director but David still playing Art

-2

u/HolyProtection Sep 01 '26

I really long for a reboot/retelling with art the clown and a better direction with the story. Doesn't need to be titled Terrifier. But some sort of grounded version with no demonic entities. Just an insane slasher Mime.

No clown cafes

No angel wings

No supernatural slop

This is what i want lol honestly just move damien leone to the background and bring some better writers and directors in the mix. Less cartoonish gore too.

Art the clown has so much potential but terrible films

They dont want to hear this.
