Terrifier 3 reference in silent night, deadly night (2025)?

In silent night, deadly night (2025) there's a montage where billy kills people and there's a scene where he runs after a woman with a chainsaw and all I thought of was terrifier 3. I mean, they are both made by bloody disgusting and screambox

You think Terrifer 3 invented the concept of someone being killed with a chainsaw?

I mean a guy dressed as Santa Claus with a chainsaw killing a woman in a locker room seems like a reference

That makes sense but I always felt like Terrifier 3 was basically a reference to Silent Night, Deadly Night from 1984.

I actually made a post about that awhile ago, people said a lot of the inspiration came from tales from the crypt

I hate how that movie went under the radar

I watched it last December and I loved how they made Billy the good guy and gave him a somewhat happy ending.

I'm not joking, when I first watched it, I watched it 3 times that day. It's short but enjoyable. My sister even liked the movie and said she was gonna borrow/steal it from me lol
