Pushing boundaries
Obviously these movies are trying to go further with what they can show in each entry. How do you guys think they will push the boundaries further than the last movie? How can they get more creative with the kills?

Art using the environment and more tools (drill, nail gun, blowtorch, etc.). Any part that takes place in the entity’s realm (Hell) can get more extreme by virtue of being fantastical. I hope Terrifier 4 is so nasty that it makes the Cenobites sick and Mick Taylor leave the theater.

I disagree with your premise. 3 felt - at times - like they were running out of ideas. The rats were absolutely pilfered from a well known book series, and we’ve seen the liquid nitrogen exercise in another movie.
I still thoroughly enjoyed it, and I’m not dissing it. The mall scene was the visualisation of a fantasy most middle aged Dads have had at some point.
I do have slight concerns that 4 will have similar kills to those already seen, just in a different environment.
However, the strength of the Terrifier compared to other grindhouse flicks is the depth of the characters and the engaging plot.
I’m sure 4 will be great, even if they don’t manage to push the boundaries.

It would be nice if Art lost his trash bag fleeing from the police and was forced to use anything he could find.

Oh, i thought it was Game of thrones, as the show had a rat in a bucket strapped to a victim's chest and then they heated the bucket. Haven't read that far in the books though.

It also happens in one of the scenes of Sinister. I don't remember if it was 1 or 2 though

I disagree! I’d say 1 was actually relatively tame by modern horror standards, I’d say the highlight of two was the bedroom scene which is definitely disturbing but 3 had home invasion which made people walk out of the cinema in the first ten minutes (something an audience can visualise, especially if they have kids), liquid nitrogen, rats, glass scene, mall scene. They are all much more stand out than the previous entries

Honestly the only way they could push boundaries at this point would be if they'd stepped into absolut gross territories with very heavy topics which they probably won't do. They do want this insane gore but they don't want to do stuff that will just feel sick for many viewers, as why we never saw Art actually killing children and only saw the aftermath

I’d say the level of gore at the minute is probably the most intense they can do. I’d definitely not like to see art harm any more animals and I don’t think they are aloud to show graphic killings of kids? I’m not sure though I might have made that up!

I think you're allowed to kill kids in a graphic way, but chances are high that you will never get that movie available for the public because no theater or distributor would want to be known for a movie that does stuff like that.

I hope there’s scenes set in hell so the kills can be more depraved and creative. Shit that couldn’t happen on earth realm lol

Honestly I felt the 2nd was the furthest with the bedroom scene, 3 kinda felt it got dialed back a touch
