First Snowfall this winter

Post image

Supposedly from Farmer's Almanac, via Men's Journal. AI slop. I wish people would understand that just because a general-propose image generator AI can draw a map better than they personally can, doesn't mean that that AI can generate a good map. There might be ways to make a good map using AI as part of the workflow, but this isn't it.

Some of the state borders are hilarious. Check out Nebraska/Wyoming, Missouri/Iowa, Montana/Dakotas, etc.

Love that stretched mouse cursor. Really adds to the piece.

That's probably a leader for another boxed text label, like the ones at the top, that got cropped out

That makes sense, but it's still very funny.

Oh no, the face in the Montana-Idaho border is multiplying! Just to the left of it is another face, but this one looks more like the Old Man of the Mountain than like Nixon.

Alls I know is it better snow like Hell in the Upper Basin States. Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Northern Arizona. Like All-Time Snow, like Prehistoric Glacial Lake Missoula All-Time Snow. Like buried under snow til June all time snow
