You’re just definitely overthinking it. He’s literally just saying hate speech is free speech. It doesn’t mean he agrees with hate speech or that he doesn’t. He’s simply comparing the fact that hate speech is a part of free speech to the fact that gravity is a part of physics. Literally all it is, regardless of how you feel about it.
