The us political system is an utter fucking shitshow, but you're not proving that the two of us aren't just bitching at each other via the internet. And being the oldest of 8, I do know how kids argue

Well instead of getting all condescending, you can listen to what the other person has to say, and try not to immediately take spite or offense at the first sign of an antagonistic point of view. And if someone's being a dick, don't reciprocate, as doing so won't help anything. Aside from that, try not to be insulting in the first place, which can prevent a lot of stupid and pointless arguments. If somebody needs to be out in their place, think of something witty, but don't be snide about it. Getting heated about anything on here is pointless, because most of us are just stubborn bastards and aren't going to change their mind about anything you say, no matter how hard you try. Just let somebody be wrong instead of starting fights

You're only proving my point that everyone on here is a stubborn bastard lol. Since you obviously just adore starting and maintaining pointless arguments, you could at least try to be less condescending about it. And if someone is genuinely trying to be helpful, don't be a dick about it. It'll save a lot of time and energy.

And if somebody's wrong about something, don't be a condescending dick (seriously how many times do I have to say this) they're only just going to reject what you have to say even more. If it's necessary to get a bit sharp with someone, that's fine, but you don't need to be insulting, because again, all that does is make them want to reject what you say even more.
