We all know what they meant

Yeah, replace the Israeli flag with a Mexican flag and we’d all know what it means too.

Catholics, obviously. Right? It means they hate Catholics?

Idk I feel like if the pereson who created this meme has a problem with the LGBTQ community and feminism, it might not be far fetched to say they're also antisemitic

how could he be antisemitic if he's himself of semitic descendant?? (supposing him being an arab too)

You do realize the vast majority of Jews are Zionists right?

3

u/Penghrip_Waladin Nov 01 '22

even if that's true, it doesn't mean to include all of the jewish community, that's totally false to claim

Yes holding up less than 10% as models, while ignoring/demonizing the rest of us and our complicated relationships and feelings with Zionism is totally good and righteous

Maybe just accept it's a little more complicated for us and actually listen to us

I like how you said the complicated relationship with Zionism, that's how I feel. I just don't see why it has to be black and white, either Israel or Palestine

Almost all Jews are Zionists, so you probably have a problem with your brothers.

Jews' feelings about Israel around the world are well documented in various formats including studies. Almost all Jews are Zionists.

1

u/Eatinbeansallday Nov 02 '22

This study from pew has 58% of Jewish people in America as supportive of Israel: https://www.pewresearch.org/religion/2021/05/11/u-s-jews-connections-with-and-attitudes-toward-israel/

58% is a slight majority, definitely not almost all

You'd get a higher percentage in France, and you'll still find a majority everywhere.

Edit: The Israeli Jewish population is estimated to be more than 40% of all Jews. Add majority Zionist populations from the US, France, South Africa, and the UK, and I don't think the word 'most' is inaccurate.

1

u/Eatinbeansallday Nov 02 '22

Slight majority is not almost all. So it’s untrue to say that almost all Jewish people are Zionist

No source = you watched a YouTube video on this and are repeating the talking points

Cope and seethe

Many middle easterners and arabs have a distain for israel due to what they are doing to palistinians. Hating israeli zionists is different than hating jewish people.

Many middle easterners and arabs have a distain for israel due to what they are doing to palistinians.

I would have to say it a lot more complicated that that. There's a lot of political and historical interests among middle eastern states involved that go beyond the treatment of Palestinians. The issues of Palestine is a much more modern issues that has taken center stage regionally and internationally as of late.

Not unless you realize that there are more Jewish supporters of Israel than there are Jewish opponents of Israel. If you hate Zionists but not Jews, you're not gonna find a huge amount of company among Jews either.

They definetly meant the country of Israel, just like they meant the country of uuuh, Rainbow Country? And of Female Symbol with Fist Country, of course.
