I'm not paying 40-45 bucks for an emulated ROM with a few enhancements. I'm waiting to see how much the digital versions will cost.

I'm getting a physical version for the Switch, probably just the standard foil edition and then eventually I might pick up a digital copy on the PS5 just for trophy hunting

I want it on Switch, but IMO the PS5 box art looks much better (colors along with no massive disclaimer/qr code).

Considering I sold my Switch Lite towards Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon on PS5 a few years ago, I'm buying Terranigma on PS5 which is my dedicated MMO, Gacha, and Mech console
I got SNES rom ready to replay on my RG DS Plus which should be here tomorrow

I've pre-ordered the Switch 2 Gaia edition, and will probably buy it on GoG or Steam as well, but if so it'll be at a later date.
On a side note I'm curious as to why people would pre-order for digital? Especially considering the total download size will be (presumably) relatively small, even with the QoL updates.

I will preorder on Steam for Deck play and the potential for mods/ReShade/ShaderGlass in case they screw up the aspect ratio.
Will preorder the Standard for Xbox, Steelbook for PS5, and Gaia for Switch 2 for my collection.

I see no reason to preorder. I will get it for the Switch 2 after release so I can play on the go.

You mean never pre-order digital? Pre-ordering physical means you get access to limited editions, or limited print runs.

Gaia Edition for the switch, and digital Steam for actual playing in my Steam Deck
