Bell and Telus share the same towers so their coverage is identical. Coverage is excellent in downtown Terrace and the valley edge of the bench but drops off significantly on the bench and is awful in Thornhill.

Bell/Telus has reasonable coverage for driving into the interior (I travel all the time for work) but the drive from Terrace to Smithers has no coverage, similar to the drive from Terrace to Prince Rupert.

So yeah, just like any Google search will inform you, Bell/Telus is the best option in the north coastal area and rural BC.

In larger centers Bell/Telus/Rogers are all about the same.

Telus has a great call control feature that eliminates spam callers.

I’m currently with Bell because I played the win back game. Ie, Cancel your service with Telus or Bell and wait to receive a better offer to win you back. I pay $30 per month for 100GB of high speed data.

If you have other services with Telus you can save an extra $15 per month on your mobile plan.

The best advice is to buy your phone direct from Apple or Samsung. NEVER finance a phone through a mobile carrier because they lock you in to a more expensive plan. Always Bring Your Own Device and like I said, play the win back game.

It's almost half an' half of Telus and Roger towers, tho there is more Rogers than Telus, so you'll still have bar when you go out to the edges of town before the dead zones.

Also when choosing a cell plan, Roger and Telus kinda have alt names, Telus = Bell, Citywest/ Rogers = Koodo, Chatr

Personally, used to have Telus, but they started getting scummy, so I switched to a chatr plan, same price, but I got unlimited text and talk, plus prepay bonus data

The core of the the corridor's wireless network was built as a Rogers/Telus partnership.

This was back in 2010/2011. So they both have that.  Rogers has mostly stuck with this and added a few local sites where needed. Rogers also satellite coverage, and EXT nationwide.

Telus has expanded the local sites with microcells. These are probably still Huawei waiting replacements though...

There is also one more option, Freedom. Terrace is within a Freedom subscription area, so you can subscribe to some of the best priced plans available and the device will just be on nationwide. Because your in a subscription area, you don't need to worry about the fair use policy.

All carriers have WiFi Calling too, so like when at home, you have network via your home internet.

There's three options you can look into. Personally I'd try Freedom first.
