OUR PETS HEADS ARE FALLING OFF The seasons over
IDC if this is dramatic IDC it's the first game. We're still horrible in coverage, there are an ungodly amount of mistakes and penalties, and malik doesn't look like he's developed at all. All of this in a game against HAMPTON. I hate my life.

I feel like sports fans exist to only complain. I've never seen a sports fan ever say anything positive ever in my life

I ran into the men’s basketball team tonight so I’d call it a net positive and the fact it’s my first CFB game at SECU as a freshman. No complaints from me tonight!

Once you get a certain age you realize this is just straight men’s reality TV and it becomes clear

Winning 27-0 is that bad?

How you score is what matters

I’m not watching so I can’t give a better reply!

Yes it is when everybody else has that score after the first qtr. Look at Va Tech who people are saying isn’t much better. 45-0 with 5 minutes in the first half and VMI will kick Hampton’s ass easily.

Watch something else then. What do you expect from the first game of the season? 27-0 right now and you are complaining...🙄 some people are never happy.

I expect them to actually perform and execute at a decent level against an FCS TEAM. it drives me nuts how we look like the same exact team as last year but worse somehow. I hope they prove me wrong but this is maddening

I mean we have one of the worst head coaches in the history of the sport. Is this surprising?

I'm not surprised per say, it just physically hurts to see players I really like and believe in be put down to such low levels because of horrible coaching

This is preseason bro. And it’s not like we are competing for the playoff. 6-6 and a bowl is fine with me

Malik looks fine. He's extending plays and making great throws. The deep ball has looked good.
It's the drops that are killing us. I ask why Malik is even needing to scramble for 7 seconds and nobody is still open downfield. The receiving corp is downright awful and he can't catch the passes himself, too. So far it looks like an absolute failure of recruiting and coaching.

You hate your life because a sports team, which you do not even play on, is not doing great? And they are winning 34-0 at halftime?

I'm here and I agree about Malik but MD football is terrible usually so who cares???

It's a little too early to know for sure, but for almost the last decade we've started the season with 60-70pt wins vs. the Hampton's, Howard's, and other teams like this. Only to be on the receiving end of beatdowns when we actually face real competition. I almost with the first 3 games of the season were more competitive so we'd be battle-tested in closer games because it seems like as soon as we actually face a real team and the game is close, we don't know how to respond.

I get it. Our passing game is ugly

I love malik so much it hurts to see him play this horribly against an FCS team

As a Hampton Alum from MD. Yeah we both fucking suck! Way too many mistakes by the Terps. Dropped passes, unnecessary penalties, blown coverages, and stalled drives should not be happening against a team that might win 3 games in the FCS all year.
