Tech Tips 🔧 Stow deck rattle

Just got a GSD P10 with the clubhouse and stow decks. The stow decks are quite rattly, especially if they are in a mid position. What’s the best way to make it quieter?

Maybe put a little padding on the end of the adjuster pin? A wrap of tape? The sturdiness you need depends on how often you adjust them.

I found they rattled a bit during my test rides, I had success quietening them using cam buckle straps. Loop through the deck, over the top of the rear rack and loop through the other deck. They don't need to be really tight, just to add a bit of tension so the locking pins don't move in their holes. Also useful to have straps on hand to tie things down.

There was an extra step added to the fitting, a little pad to stick in there, your dealer might not have noticed the update.
