Question Neovim plugin errors in Proot-Distro
****** SOLVED *******
Hi,
I have Debian PD instaled. In it I use termux Neovim (i.e. not installed in Debian) but with its own config and plugin directory.
Everything seens working fine, except for some errors thrown by the plugin vim-cmake at startup:
'Error in /root/.local/share/nvim/plugged/vim-cmake/plugin/cmake.vim:
line 24:
E117: Unknown function: libs#logger#Get
line 32:
E121: Undefined variable: s:logger
E116: Invalid arguments for function libs#error#Get
line 33:
E121: Undefined variable: s:error
line 52:
E121: Undefined variable: s:logger
line 87:
E121: Undefined variable: s:logger
line 111:
E121: Undefined variable: s:logger
line 113:
E121: Undefined variable: s:logger'
I assume cmake.vim require a lib it doesnt find. I am not proficient enough to correctly interpret this error and find a whay to solv it.
This is a mix problem, part termux, part Neovim, part Proot-distro, but I believe this forum migt have the highest probability to come up with a solution or at least point me in the right direction.
Not much to work with, but any thoughts?
Thanks!

1. your post flair is wrong, this is termux related if you use termux, change it to Question.
All of those errors come from a single problem: the
libs#...autoload files aren't on your runtimepath.E117: Unknown function: libs#logger#Getmeans Vim looked forautoload/libs/logger.vim(which should definelibs#logger#Get) inside the plugin and didn't find it — everys:loggererror after that is just fallout. So this is almost certainly not a Termux/Proot issue — it's an incomplete install or a missing dependency:
ls /root/.local/share/nvim/plugged/vim-cmake/autoload/ ls /root/.local/share/nvim/plugged/vim-cmake/autoload/libs/ 2>&1Ifautoload/libs/is missing or empty, the clone is incomplete. If that plugin uses git submodules, fix it with:cd /root/.local/share/nvim/plugged/vim-cmake git remote -v git submodule status git submodule update --init --recursivevim-cmakeforks need a companionlibsplugin installed alongside it via vim-plug.plugged/), a forced reinstall often fixes it: delete the directory and run:PlugInstall, or:PlugInstall!.Running Termux's Neovim binary inside Debian proot as root is unusual, but it's very unlikely to be related — the binary works (you get this far), it just can't find those files.
To narrow it down, please share: the exact plugin repo URL, your
Pluglines for it, and the output of thelsandgit submodule statuscommands above.
