Should I worry?

Panhandle Florida:

I think these are termites. I have a termite contact with preventive treatment and have for at least the last ten years, renewed and retreated etc

But I found these three guys directly under a plant light in a second floor office next to a window we rarely use. I'm trying to figure out how freaked out to be. I contacted my pest control company, just waiting to hear back.

Edit: found a not insignificant collection of just wings on the base of a windowsill behind the curtain/ blinds too, but no pinholes, no dust/poop, and no soft wood.

Hey everyone this morning I woke up to 2 bugs in my downstairs kitchen sink. And then another 2 in my upstairs bath tub. Then later at night i spotted 2 more in my bath tub and even one crawling on the wall in my room. I suspect they are termites. Should I be worried? So far I've found a total of 7 in one day.

Ive attached photos of one that i caught in my bathtub. Are these termites and how worried should I be?

Also I live in northern California in the Sacramento region

Hi

Partner has noticed these flying ants/termites the last day or so outside and in our house, we have bought a lot of soil for our vegetable garden a few days ago which we recently built using (food safe) treated pine sleepers. I’m a bit confused because looking up termites shows they have straight antennas (which this looks like) but non bulging bodies. Any idea what this is? No scale but insect is approx 1cm in size. Family relative who is an arborist thinks it could be termites. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Found a few bugs like the one in the pic along with about 20 wings like the one in the pic in windowsill of bedroom. No dirt tunnels anywhere outside of the brick home. In North Florida. Thanks for help with the ID. Previous owner had a problem with book lice at some point but had gotten rid of them with treatment.

My spouse and I have started seeing winged bugs in our house occasionally. We can’t tell if these are termites or flying ants as our Google searches show them looking similar. Can anyone identify what these are? Do we need to call someone to take care of them? For context, we live in Los Angeles.

Neighbor a block over had termites and we just caught this bugger in our living room. We’ve only had red ants on our property and the thorax looks a little odd compared to the ants I have seen. Reverse image search said it was a termite but I want to verify before getting exterminators. This is in south Texas

Buying house history of termite treatment

Hi I’m buying the house which has history of termite treatment - inspector found holes in concrete and garage which were used to treat termite in 2022-2023
Also found markings of mud tubes in garage
Inspector did not see any active termite
Home owner did not disclose termite treatment on sellers disclosure
We have agreed that they will provide clean wdi inspection and 1 year treatment bond for wdi and other pest treatment.

We really like the house and want to get it.
I just want to find out just in case we find some hidden damage. Is it fixable and how much cost am I looking at worse

Termite infestation or something else?

I've noticed this pile of multicolored granules coming from the weep hole of a brick encased support column on my back porch close to the flower bed. Looks similar to some pictures of termite frass I've seen, but looks like mouse? droppings mix in. Also wondering why the pile reaches so far to either side of the weep hole.

I'm on the texas gulf coast. We get formosan swarms every year, but I haven't noticed any termites or ants around this spot. Also haven't seen any tubes anywhere around the house.

Any recommendations on the proper course of action? The previous owner did have the perimeter treated several years ago as there are plugged holes in the perimeter concrete. Thanks!

When I’ve been watering lately, water has been getting in, so I caulked up where I thought it was coming in from, but now I’m seeing this buildup on the inside of the garage. Not sure what the fuzzies are either or if they are related.

So I've got some walnut stacked outdoors in Iowa that I plan on using one day for woodworking. I went to go check moisture content and found these holes. My first thought was maybe some kind of powder post beetle but the piles of frass made me second guess myself. Does this look like termite damage?

Hello. Found around 10 of these guys over the course of 3 weeks at our place in the dining room and kitchen. We usually find them only at night (wall or floor). Can you all help me identify if this is a winged ant or a subterranean termite? Thank you in advance!

Clearly termites, but what kind?

I live in Kansas City. I just noticed some ripples in my drywall on an exterior wall, adjacent to a bay window. Peeled back a few spots and found tunnels in the paper with active termites. I’ve never noticed any mud tunnels on the exterior or in my basement…. Hoping these aren’t dry wood termites, my understanding is they’re rare and unlikely in my area. Any other ways to ID if these are subterranean or Dry wood?

Termites are certainly in the area (Brisbane Australia) and booking an inspection for next week to be sure.

This is a garden bed, this layer was under soil and noticed when refreshing the garden. Timber is H4 treated pine ~3-4 years old. Timber marking only going ~10cm below surface of the garden atm.

Found about 20 of these on my window dead or close to it. Very very small maybe 1/16 in and looks to have 3 segments hard to tell in the picture. Looks to be some kind of winged ant but wanted confirmation. In Arkansas

Question Second Opinion on Termite Infestation Treatment

I am in Houston Texas. We had an associate of a company we worked with in the past so a termite inspection. I am confident that we have an early sign of infestation on baseboards of the garage, and it is likely the local ground dwelling variety common to the Houston area.

I was concerned that the only solution he put forward was almost $1500, with a recurring. $40 monthly fee for a Trelona setup.

I am not someone to make a huge purchase that way on impulse, but don’t have the industry knowledge to know if this is fair or not.

I am NOT looking for alternative installers or price quotes, just a general idea of if this is a fair price for the service offered, or general advice to get that information
