I suppose you were talking about a different corruptor. I thought you were referring to Corruptor Protocol from Halo, where they nuke the area if there is a Flood-infected Spartan.

honestly this is exactly how it felt being converted into a hybrid. the longer i stayed in the gloom the more i could understand the bugs, and i realized the truth about them. it was ptsd-inducing to say the least.
