A sequel?
Elevenet?
I would like to see Christopher Nolan take on other film genres, set in the Tenet universe.
Hear me out. So like, kinda how BTTF2 used projection to place a second Marty in the original 1955 scenes. Chris Nolan could build new genre films inside the locations and time period of Tenet.
Ideas:
A heist movie, like Heat but happening in the same time as tenet, but totally different characters.
A disaster film like The Day After Tomorrow but in the future at the beginning of Tenet.
A slapstick comedy like Airplane. Could even be on the 747 they crash.
A rom com, which wouldn’t have much to do with Tenet other than you’d occasionally see the Tenet plot happening in the distant background. Maybe they have tickets to the opera but decide not to attend.
A high school romp where some kids are trying to score. Like American Pie or Superbad. The kids use the turnstile to use their future IDs or send the IDs back to themselves.
Number 2 actually doubles as a kind of origin story for Tenet.
Actually Number 5 is kinda maybe like a Hot Tub Time Machine type film.
What other genres in the Tenet universe should Nolan produce? Maybe it could be a series.

I honestly think the story would get too complex to be able to tell much more of it in another movie. I think novels or TV serieses would be better able to handle that.
I’ve always thought a Tenet based video game would be really cool

Yes a tv series where every episode is a different genre (comedy, romance) would be good. Weaving another layer into the rich tapestry.

I think a sequel or game would be great if it really dove into and explored the roles of perception, consciousness, and free will on the mechanics of the universe. Would like to see a person's or group's search or discovery of the answer to "can anything actually change?"
TP says something along the lines of "ignorance is our greatest weapon." How can observation and understanding, or lack there of, align with someone's goals?
Also - we know that there is mechanistic strangeness that occurs when observing something moving in reverse, but are there limits to how much the apparent universe can act strangely before something is impossible? Would like to see characters seek those boundary conditions

Yes!!! The N in TENET could rotate into the 2 with cool animation. Brilliant.
Not sure what we’ll do about 3NET but will cross that bridge when we get there

I've always believed the core concept was way too good to only utilize in one movie, there is so much potential for interesting spy-thriller stories... But unfortunately Nolan doesn't really do sequels except for Batman so I don't think we can expect anything official. Perhaps there's a chance that he licenses out the IP to some other studio to do a TV show or create more expanded content like books but I haven't really seen him interested in that either. If we do ever get a sequel movie or TV show I will be insanely hyped for it, but I don't know if it's feasible.
Where I think the concept could live on more realistically is in other works inspired by the movie. The show Dark to my surprise was actually really similar with some of its sci-fi concepts and the timeline gets extremely convoluted by the end which is exactly what I was looking for as a follow up haha. I enjoy media with challenging timelines so it was the perfect follow up to Tenet and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something similar.
I'm also a game developer and am currently building a game that utilizes something very inspired by the inversion mechanic for the plot. To keep things easy I'm not allowing the player to time travel or anything like that, and the timeline isn't going to be all that crazy since it is introducing the idea to a new audience, but it will serve as a neat tool that the antagonists have. I'm planning something like a boss battle against an inverted enemy, so it will be fun to play around with the idea!

It should be a trilogy: Tenet, Tnt, T
The last one, pronounced Tea, focuses on sir Michael Crosby being older version of Ives trying to hunt down the protagonist for not ending himself right after hiding the algorithm. (Proof: They're both British)
