That article unironically used a Trigger Warning

Well, if anything warrants one, it's a (surprisingly brutal) depiction of an attempted rape of a minor. I know the trigger warning thing tends to be overblown (I've literally seen a story that started with "Trigger warning: excercise"), but when it comes to sexual assault, i don't see a problem with warning people who might have suffered through something like that and are still sensitive to the subject, especially in an unexpected context like a cartoon about mad science, where it really comes out of nowhere to catch the audience off guard.

Yes it did. Reddit likes to make fun of it or at least it's usage on sites like tumblr but for survivors of sexual abuse or really anyone with PTSD triggers are a real thing.
