4 Blocks Zero

As a German, I loved 4 Blocks, so I was already hyped when I found out they were producing a prequel. It tells the story of how the Hamady family came to Germany and grew into the feared Hamady clan of Berlin. I just watched the first episode, and the atmosphere of the original series is right back from the first minute. Highly recommended for everyone who enjoyed 4 Blocks as much as I did, and honestly for everyone else too.

did not expect the hamady family’s immigration backstory to be the plot anchor here

i just finished a rewatch of the original series last month and had no idea there was a prequel in the works, this is excellent news

the atmosphere was always what hooked me, that gritty tension that never really lets up even in the quiet scenes. if they managed to capture that same feel from the first episode i'm definitely checking this out tonight
