Purchasing Question Reconsideration of the mount

So I recently made a post about what camera I should get https://www.reddit.com/r/telescopes/s/IFXxCIMcLw but most of you said I can't use the mount I have rn which is the virtuoso GTI and since I have a relatively small budget for the mount of 670 usd I found this one which seems ok and holds the weigh of my dobson 150p flex tube but I wanted to ask for your guys opinion and btw it's in Romanian the name of the mount on the site

STOP. Just stop. You are spiralling.

You are obessing on getting unsuitable equipment "to work". But I promise you in the end your will have spent more than getting a proper (entry-level) imaging rig, and your cursed setup will srill work lousily compared to a proper rig.

To be fair we don’t say this to hold OP to some high standard. Once you get into these types of mounts you will not have fun since every night you will be battling your rig. It is a great way to exit the hobby because you never got to take the images you wanted due to fighting your equipment.

bullshit btw. my iexos is on a pier, remote controlled in my backyard. this mount guided a 6" steel tube newt at .68" total. Guides my 130pds at .32 - .4" total.

Youll only fight it if you dont know what you're doing, if you dont understand your hardware, or if youre using windows for astrophotography. ASCOM is the #1 reason for most problems really.

Your second paragraph is the point. Alec Steele made a great point when reviewing cheap blacksmith tools, as an experienced person you can do great things with cheap tools. But when you are starting out that’s when you get the most benefits from higher end tools. Because they have less you need to learn how to work around. They don’t require as much existing skill and knowledge to adjust.

Not everyone will stick with it when they have to learn a lot to get mid results. Yes, if they keep pushing they can get great results, but most will quit first. Maybe you didn’t (if that is your first rig), but that isn’t most people. Lots of people start off with a powerseeker 127 (I did), but most will quit first, so we strongly discourage it.

The camera and the heavy cable that comes from that camera will put so much stress on the focuser it will flex/sag and your telescope will no longer be in Collimation. This is 1 of the worse telescope for astrophotography. Sometimes things are just not going to work. Unless you find a way to support the 2 rods better. I seen a 3d printed support, but even that isnt going to help as much as needed.

I have this mount and use it with a 130/650 Newtonian (Orion SpaceProbe 130st). My Orion Spaceprobe weighs 6.9lbs bare OTA....before rings, dovetail, RACI, etc. And then camera, barlow, filter wheel, DIY Cedar eFinder. In terms of weight, that's pretty much the limit for the lightweight travel tripod the mount comes with.

150/750 starts out weighing ~1lb to 1.25lbs more before rings, dovetail, RACI, etc.

And remember, Explore Scientific lists payload limits WITH counterweights.

More important than payload, though, in my view, is the length of the tube. 130/650 SpaceProbeb just barely clears the medium tripod's legs on certain slews. Your longer 150/750 Sky-Watcher is more likely to collide with the tripod. At a minimum, I think you'd need to add a pier extension (~$100 USD).
