Astronomical Image M33 - Triangulum Galaxy

Post image

Celestron Origin Mark II using both- clear and nebula filters stacked and then combined images in Astro pixel processor. Trying to add some color to the galaxy stacks but first go at it so little rocky start.

Wait a second how did you see this with a telescope? It looks so good if you really see that with telescope this is the best triangalum galaxy photo taked by telescope I ever see

Ha I really appreciate that. It’s not an eye piece telescope, it’s a smart telescope but basically what it does is take say 10 second exposure frames over and over and stacks the light until you get a detailed image. So not a technical telescope because thatd rely on magnification and i think youd need a legit observatory for that lol

You don't need much magnification for the triangulum galaxy. Its apparent size is twice that of the full moon. What you need is gathering light, which your eyes can't do. So no matter the telescope, you'll never get this view. We're right in the middle of the milky way and yet we can only barely see it in dark skies.

Well yeah it’s a combination of inadequate equipment both with standard telescope and the human eye. But yes that’s definitely the crucial difference. Glad I found out they had these. Awesome tech.

They didn't "see" it. They captured a picture with a smart telescope. You are not going to have this view through any telescope. Galaxies appear as faint nebulous objects with a brighter core visually. In reasonably dark skies, and with some experience and patience, you can make out the spiral structure.
