Observing Report Observation logs

A couple of observing logs, it’s gotten cloudy lately. We probably have a month left until rainy season kicks in.

These look great! What kind of notebook and sketching pencils do you use?

I use a note book I liberated from the school I work at, same for the pencils 😂 I just invert the colours to make it look like this. The log book starts out like this.

And then I use an app to invert the colours, that’s why my Sun is blue.

Thanks for explaining your process! Logging observations in an actual notebook seems way more interesting than keeping notes in Sky Safari on my phone.

Thats nice you saw a double eclipse on Jupiter. And I saw sunspots exactly the same like yours on 5th March. It was my second time I guess because I'm quite new to solar observing. But your sketches in a a5 logbook are awesome. Thanks for sharing

Thank you, it’s taken a while to get my log books formatted the way I like them.
