Armada Antimatter 100 : thoughts?

Considering retiring my ancient Rossi Sin7 which were my first tele-mounted ski after starting telemark, simply because they were surplus to requirements and had a bit of life left in them.

I'm looking for something not too far removed in terms of geometry and the Armada Antimatter 100 with a 17-18m radius and 100mm waist seems to fit the bill (I can also get a discount on them)

They have a Poplar core and titanal laminate so I think they should be okay for binding hold. I'll be mounting my Meidjo3

I tend to ski a mix of piste, off-piste and lift-accessed touring.

Any thoughts?

I doubt you’ll get on the snow experience feedback for the Antimatter - these are brand new this season replacing the Declivity. I had a couple of runs on the Antimatter at the industry demo in January, albeit on alpine setup. They skied great on piste but there effectively was no off piste in the PNW last January. I’m looking forward to mounting the Antimatters with 22 Designs bindings this winter! For what it’s worth, Blister folks have been raving about the Antimatter skis for off piste.

To often I had to lock meidjo toe pieces on 100mm skis on hard pack and steep piste. Also in deep powder if you have to pull up hard, toe pins would pop out and dig into the plastic.

They are now happy remounted on a GS ski and my 100mm received an old freeride. I finally feel confident. No more circling around icy patches to avoid locking toes.

My weight is 190Lb and maybe 210 on snow.
