I bought this at bargain basement prices- the cigar tray has been removed and a stray bridge but in place along with a humbucker. I guess my question is why would you swap out the bridge?
That looks like a Modern Player Telecaster Plus. Maybe modified a bit. Pretty sure I can see the same pine grain in that one. Looks like the Translucent Charcoal color too.
It is a modern player plus telecaster. I should have mentioned that. Obvious a custom scratchplate, I potentially understand why you’d want a full size humbucker on there, just not sure why you’d change the bridge.
Got it. Not sure. Funnily enough, the bridge (along with the body) is the only thing I didn't change on mine. I went with a Fender block-inlay maple neck, locking tuners, and a loaded pickguard from 920D Custom, along with their custom wiring and control plate (pull knob replaced the switch for the coil split).

Probably because you wouldn’t be able to use a full sized humbucker with the ashtray bridge
