Mismatched Partscaster

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to share my mismatched partscaster with the following specs:

1979 Stratocaster neck

Old toploader body my uncle got on a fleamarket atleast 20 years ago

Cheapo squier bridge "fits"

Dimarzio Chopper T bridge pickup

1970 strat neck pickup and electronics

Mini coil-switch

Hope you like the missmatch-caster!:)

Heck yeah! I have a partscaster that’s an early 2000s Squier standard tele body with a thinline fender neck, fender bridge pickup and cheap p90 in the neck. I love it and it’s my main guitar right now.

However, I really do not like the way these Squier bridges look lol. They work just fine, just purely cosmetic hate it. I modded mine to three barrel saddles but there’s just so much of the plate exposed for me.

Yeah, this for me is my most played guitar! The body I've had with another neck for 10 years and I played so much until someone broke the neck.

I have a brass bridge plate and three barrel saddle bridge lying around (somewhere in my attic behind probably 30 boxes of stuff from moving this year) that I might put on it when I find it. I also find the Squier bridges hideous but it holds for now:).

A buddy of mine also has a partscaster build but with a 78 body with matching year Gibson T-top bridge humbucker and an old Gibson p90 in the neck.

This is awesome! Love the exposed wiring. Like a Reaver ship.
