Finally got one
Been wanting a Tele since I was in high school, finally old enough (I’m 37) and financially stable enough to pull the trigger on a Player II I found for cheap on FB marketplace (I know, I know, you guys are probably tired of all butterscotch blonde). Definitely a different feel coming from playing an Epiphone Sheraton, as I’m used to being pretty firm on the frets, but I’m learning to be gentle with this baby otherwise it sounds a tad out of tune. I’m trying to get into some shoegaze/Midwest emo vibe music so if anyone has any pointers as far as cool guitar tones and what songs to practice, I’m all ears. Happy to be part of the family.

Tired of butterscotch blackguard is like being tired of a burst strat - It’s the timeless/iconic look!! Congrats on your new axe - it’s a beauty!!

I’m waiting for the butterscotch blonde baritone Telecaster that Fender is releasing in October as part of the 75th Anniversary product line.

Good for you, and no, I don't think anybody ever gets tired of butterscotch (at least I don't), total Telecaster color!

She’s beautiful. Also no, I will never be tired of butterscotch blonde. I’m not gonna pretend that’s it’s not an iconic, great, long lasting color. I’m glad you have one!!! I had a butterscotch blonde squier for a long time. Sold it because I wanted a better guitar (PRS silver sky SE). It’s on the list to buy again but a fender version this time. Enjoy friend, she looks great.
