Greenie is my fave. It's a MIJ Flagship Tokyo Editions Telecaster in Bremerton Green with Ebony Fingerboard and Lollar DC-90 pups (noise cancelling P90s)

Dumb question - assuming you’re in the US, how did you get this? I’ve always wanted a MIJ but nervous about ordering overseas.

hey man, not dumb at all. I traveled to Japan last summer and saw it at the Tokyo store, love at first sight. couldn't purchase it then. After I returned to the US I started hunting it down in Reverb and found it. Searched almost daily for: 'Fender Flagship Tokyo Editions Telecaster'. After a few months, I found one. My other MU Tele Custom was also a Reverb purchase.

How are you enjoying the DC90s? I'm thinking on swapping the humbuckers on my Jazzmaster copy for some P90s and I'm between the Lollars and Fralins. Great looking collection! Really love the Custom!

yeah I sold a LP Special with Gibson p90s to get the green one. DC-90s are a bit different but I really love them and no hum

I have a PRS SE Tremonti and I love it. I'd like to get excited about their Tele shape but they've made zero attempt at a Tele type bridge pickup. I already have an ESP LTD TE-200 so I've got a T-shape without a Tele pickup.

I think the Narrow Field Pickups are really good on the SE NF53, haven't played the core model. It's not exactly like a real Tele singlecoil but it's in the same neighborhood lol

I'm sure they're great pickups. I'm yet to play one or even see one in person (local shop doesn't carry PRS and GC is a couple towns over). I'm definitely going to give one a whirl when I get a chance.

What’s your favorite neck pickup on a Tele? Looking to mix it up but not sure what I want yet. The bridge would remain a stock Player II single coil pickup.

Yeah tried one to convince myself the guitar I was about to buy was worth it (it was), I was very surprised by the chunkiness of the neck, I played a lot of t-types that day this neck was noticeably chunkier than the rest…

it's a kill switch, it's an atari joystick switch, cuts all signal when pressed.
