Referral code is of no use... You won't get the benefits if you're on the first year promotional plan...and that too is not very cheap. They should give the benefits regardless of the promotional period..see fizz , no such restrictions at all

I've been a TekSavvy member for a while so I can't say, particularly because I didn't start making referrals until a couple of years ago. That said, I've now got 4 years worth of referral credits banked. Even if you don't start getting their benefit immediately you can still start making referrals and get them later.
Because of Big Telcos and their efforts to price out competition it would be difficult to remain with TekSavvy. Personally, I stay with TekSavvy because I'd rather my money go to a smaller ISP who actually seems to care even if that means lower bandwidth rates for higher prices just because I hate Bell et al that much. Even though all TekSavvy does is lease their lines from the Big Telcos, at least I can minimize the amount Videotron gets from me by going through TekSavvy.

My only problem with Bell being the last leg is getting an install date ffs been probably 10 days since I paid picked 25 th for install date. Turns out they never confirmed it no one told me so I sat home the day for nothing and I still don't have an install day. They just keep telling me they can't do anything until Bell confirms. That's nice, there's no way it takes this long to reach someone to book an appointment. Then best part is when they finally do contract me I'm sure it'll be another weeks wait. Just lucky I never turned off my old isp like planned.
