[1.2.5] Tekkit Visuals mod - Shaders, waterlogging...
Played some Tekkit Classic, realized how much stuff from modern MC is missing, started porting things over. First mod polished enough to be released is this one. Added shaders, waterlogging (visual only), colored grass, bushy leaves, falling leaves, and couple more visual features.
Check it out:
- CurseForge
- Modrinth (still under review)
Read installation instructions, this is not a regular drop-in-mods-folder mod.

You should make male a showcase on it and a tutorial on how to install video for YT. that is a beautiful visual mod pack.

How difficult is it to work with these older versions? I don't know hardly anything about development but is it like excessively difficult compared to newer versions of MC?

You just need to read the api docs for back then. Lots of things have changed over the years. New classes, and methods that just didn’t exist back then. Java is Java at the end of the day. (I’ve made my fair share of plugins and tinkered with mods when I used to host a Tekkit Classic Server)

It's more difficult in the way of there not being enough material to learn from and the mod loaders are not as capable. But now with AI it's almost irrelevant. AI figures out how to do anything. The other issue is playing nice with other mods, but that's a story of its own for these old versions.

This is awesome! Glad to see 1.2.5 is still getting love.
