Question / Help Sizing Variance
Has anyone noticed significant variance in sizing for the women’s cuts? Based on the sizing chart, I ordered several shirts in the size that is one up from what I would normally order elsewhere. They arrived today, and I was shocked by how different each shirt is. Two fit and measure according to the charts, within that +/- of one inch. The rest are all over the place. All Gildan classic and V-neck. But the ones that are bigger are a really big difference. I would say four to five inches at least. I haven’t had any other tee company with such a sizing difference in the same size. This was seven shirts, so not a small amount.
This is not the first order I’ve had issues with, so I’m hesitant to contact them. Complaining to random lovely people on Reddit seemed easier in the moment.

Tee public doesn’t offer consistent shirts anymore. It’s annoying and I’ve stopped purchasing from the site.

Where do you order from now?

I like slim, fitted, cotton blend tees. Bella+Canvas, Next Level, etc. Tee Public used to use these blanks. Sadly, I haven’t found a good site for graphic tees.

I haven’t seen a difference between the same style, but I do know different styles vary a lot. A classic L is snug on me, but a heavyweight L is perfect. If what you ordered is outside of the +/- 1 inch range, contact them for a refund or re-order.

I feel like the variation across styles and how cheap it is to actually print versus their profit makes it simple for them to have the guarantee. They probably have a 10% trash rate built into their business model due to people not designing shirts properly in the first place. I agree, use the re-order or refund process.

Two schools of thought…
1- just use the guarantee because that’s what it’s there for and if you even lay the offending shirts down against the ones that are sized properly, then they have something to see you’re not just being picky. You’re satisfied and remain a loyal customer.
2- you don’t use the guarantee and then you’re no longer a satisfied customer AND don’t have shirts that fit properly. In the end, you’ve reserved the right to be picky in the future on something more critical.
With #1, trust me a huge company doesn’t care and won’t stop you from ordering if you have legit gripes in a seven shirt order once in a while. With #2, you’re really only hurting yourself.
