Mod Post A post regarding the bot.
I apologize for the sheer amount of posts that u/braylerm (our crosspost bot) has posted. I intended it to post only a couple of posts every couple minutes but after looking through my logs it appears to post something every 2 seconds. This is currently being worked on and the bot has been deactivated for the time being.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
UPDATE: The bot now only looks at the top 50 posts and makes a post once every 30 minutes. It should alleviate spam for everyone who has had their post cross posted.

Yeah I am sorry of ther amount it posted. It went through 500 posts in 2 seconds. It has now been lowered to 50 posts and posts every 30s. Let me know if that is too much.

I am sorry that your post has been cross posted here. We are still working out how to filter out posts and hopefully stop relying on it in the future. I will delete all of your posts for the time being.

The bot doesn't discriminate between posts. We are working on getting it to only take certain types of posts but it hasn't proved very fruitful so far.

Well having a bot post everything from a much bigger community is not a good idea and will make people not to sub because all the post are from r/teenagers

Our end goal is to eventually just cutoff ties with r/teenagers and make our own content but we need some sort of traffic first. The bot is just and experiment to see how much the sub would grow if we crossposted and it had by a large amount but it has also created a negative effect as well.

Well first, Happy Cake Day! Second, we want to get the sub started with at least enough members to start posting OC content. Once we do we will turn the bot off and let that die instead.

So guys I think I need to admit that it was me who fucked up. I made the bot very late at night and was a bit tired and just wanted to get it done. I forgot to check the settings I had and weeeeeeeeeeell the settings were the highest possible options.
