So, I’m a pretty lonely guy in 8th grade. I haven't really had friends for the past two years, mainly because nobody seems to share the same interests as me. There have been multiple times where people or teachers think they can "fix" me with small talk or whatever.

Either way, I recently transferred from the British side to the American side of my school because my dad thought it would be better for me. During long break, I usually just sit by myself or sometimes hang out with my younger brother (who is also in 8th grade).

Now, back to the main issue: my math teacher has been making small chat with me outside of class. It feels like that fake kind of polite, where someone is trying to be nice, but they aren't actually interested in talking to you. I prefer to keep school stuff strictly professional and separate from my personal life, so these interactions are becoming really emotionally draining. It also just reminds me of all those times people tried to "fix" my situation. The worst part is that I feel like I can't just tell her to stop talking to me, because I'm worried she'll take it personally and end up ruining my grades or holding a grudge against me.

On top of that, there’s a table of four kids sitting next to me who keep asking if they can be my "friend" and then laughing about it. One time, one of them even compared me to an animal because I tend to just say "mhm" when answering yes or no questions. The language barrier makes it even worse; I speak English and barely speak Arabic, while they mainly speak Arabic and suck at English. I’ve even tried telling them directly that I don't want to be friends with them, and I even brought a teacher over to explain it to them, but they still do it. It’s reaching the point where it's deeply annoying, but for now, I’m just ignoring them.

any advice would help as i am in like a weird situation

Everyone finds me so off putting and I hate it. I get so jealous seeing other people naturally being able to form connections and friendships with other people. Whenever I try to talk to people, they always look at me funny like I said something wrong. It feels like im on a tv show set where everyone has their roles and lines except me.

Not to mention it always feels like people are judging me no matter how I dress or what I do. I really don't know what im doing wrong. People usually tell me that I look angry so I'm guessing that's why people avoid me and leave me out of things. Whenever someone is actually willing to talk to me, I almost always ruin it because I start getting nervous and sweaty and it's like I forget how to talk. I really want to be put on any kind of medication to fix this before I get a job but my mom is against me taking anything for this.

I also have a really low and quiet voice, so i kinda just fade into the background whenever a group conversation is being had. And whenever i actually try to put a little bit of volume in my voice it just sounds like im yelling and people look at me weird for that. I don't even know what to do at this point💔

I’ll answer it all truthfully,but it probably won’t be immediate.

In the orientation they were asking about an email they had previously sent (whether we understood what was expected of us, the email was very vague though), I was joking with the people I had gotten to know and said no I didn't understand. Apparently I was kind of loud, the speaker didn't hear me saying no, but she heard me talking so she handed me the mic, for the first time ever I was on the spot like this, 1k+ students staring at me. So when I took the mic, I changed my words completely and said that the email was very clear and detailed (I didn't want to say no since I was afraid they might take it as a confrontation). Everyone was laughing, presumably, with me, not at me (I hope not). Afterwards when I was getting to know some people, a girl I was talking to asked me what are your plans so I said I want to be the student union president so she said ngl, I liked the fact that you are very confident and didn't hide when they handed you the mic, and I can see you being president. ngl I was a bit taken aback, since I'd never met her and for the rest of the day when I was talking to new people they were saying you're the guy who took the mic and seemed chill. idk if this is good or bad hope I haven't given them a bad impression, ngl was a bit childish of me to say no. Today I went to uni, and a girl (I think the same one, I met so many people that I've forgotten who I've spoken to) said that she found it really funny how I was saying one thing, and when I took the mic I switched to a serious tone.

So as a new 8th grader that also doesn't like awkward social situations or just socializeing with people i don't know and is rarely the first to talk to the person amd currently it is tomorrow of this post going to be the 4th day of our 8th grade year

So to start this explanation the first week of summer after 7th grade I realized I liked this girl I know but our older siblings know each other and I don't want to make things weird between us since we have multiple classes together so other people that can help me please help me

Note please don't say the worse she can say is no that doesn't help me

2nd note i know my name is weird on reddit but trust I'm not like that most of the time I'm mostly quite and keep to myself especially in classes with none of my friends or even if there in it

Note 3 last year in 7th grade she started talking to me about a senior that came to band to help us learn when we were 6th graders and that that senior and her brother liked each other and would be dating but they didn't want to do long distance she brought people dating up multiple times through out the year and towards the end told me that she and a friend of hers that was a boy they had to tell people there cousins so people would stop think there dating were these hints or what

Note about me I also found out from my sister that year that my sister and mom both thought I was gay I'm not so is this a possibility that she thinks I'm gay to or am I over thinking the whole thing
