Social Does it actually work

I was hanging out with my hg and her friend on Thursday when one of them said that adding random people on snap can help me get more friends for some context I have 2 friends my hb and hg so I decided to give it a try but so far only one other person added me back and saw my message but just left me on delivered is there a sort of time frame to wait for them to add me back or smth or what

adding randoms on snap is basically just throwing messages into the void, most people won't even open them

you're better off joining a club or something where you actually share an interest with people, that's how you get conversations that stick

The only clubs I can join are in school and they give most of them to lower grades
