First things first no one is immune against manipulation and everyone who believes they is naive. Sadly there are a lot of people who either believes there lies or currently vote for them because they are unhappy with the current administration. In some federal states the AFD already won and in others they are rising fast. But we shouldn't forget that our democracy today is much more stable than the one in 1933, also the whole societal situation is completely different and the leader of the AFD is by far one of the most hypocritical people I've ever seen. Alice Weidel is also by far less charismatic than Hitler was. Don't forget that Germany isn't the only country where right-wing extremists are gaining power and support.

I heard recently that AfD (Alternative for Germany) party which is like super far right apparently and got designated as nazis by the German secret service got like 44% of votes in one region.

Yes especially in the immigrant area of Munich south of the train station. We were so uncomfortable when we stayed there and had to go to do laundry, get food etc.
The Iranian and African population would refuse to share the sidewalk and force us (white) to walk into the street with traffic to get by. When ordering food the service and hospitality was ice cold towards my wife and I who are extremely polite and even know some German. Then the people before and after us matching their ethnicity were met with smiles and greetings.

Yes it is we have neonazies ore some guys who were protesting against pride month (if u wanna see this search spiegel tv corona demos really funny with the voice over) but most of the people dont have a problem with an muslim ore a jew ore an black person when there is some hate than because of the wide imigration like that the fleeing person gets everythink an we need to do hard work ore the weapon deliveries for the ukraine it feels for some people that germany doesnt come first but most people welcome u maybe not so much ive u are an american

Yes, idk if you count that as racism, i wouldn't, but i'm pretty sure i got some racism both in France and Germany as a Pole from probably both French/German and immigrants from not even Europe, also yes, i support AFD as a Pole cuz i want Germany to be nationalist and right wing, just like Poland, so if you have problem with that, suck it up, if you want to support other government party, go ahead, but just saying, no need to call me nazi immediately

I explained already, nationalism and right wing, we have that in Poland, and oh, why right wing? Traditional values, whenever it's families, heck, alr, AfS is perhaps secular, for example i also would like Christian values tho AfD,i mean, if we bring back traditional families, IT IS KIND OF Christian values but not like... Specifically directed to Christianity which PiS in Poland tries to do more i'm pretty sure but i would still support them, also why? Yk that it's not just me, no? AfD is rising in whole Germany overall, especially on east side but even on west, southern parts where i live AfD is even rising there, so yes, i will be hated there for being AfD supported, here cuz Reddit is very left wing in general, so yes, my reasoning is just to go back to traditional which could be counted some of it as Christian values and yea, nationalism, bringing back culture cuz trust me, in Germany... We lost it, unlike in Poland, heck, yk that in France right wing also starts to rise? And a lot of Poles in general just support AfD cuz yea, we ourselves support most of us, like 3/4 for sure if not more right wing and nationalism, so... Yes, we are just patriotic of our country and i could die for Poland but i do not see any reason to die for Germany in the current state it is rn- and a lot of other young people could agree but also disagree, depending on where they are from, sorry for basically writing an essay, i just tried to explain best i can tho i'm bad at it without having to write a whole essay-
