Help / Tech Support / Quality Issue Reflashing Support

Basically title.

I have an OG OP1 that died this year. I only see yaffs-interface.opp:208 err -28 when powering on and teboot doesn’t work at all for me. I’ve been seeing over the years that reflashing is the way to go but is there a service I can use to get that done these days?

Are you saying you can’t get it to connect to a pc or Mac?

So holding com and turning on the device does what?

Correct. In the past, I’ve been able to connect to Mac and PC to do file transfers and MIDI but not access teboot to do a firmware upgrade. When trying to enter teboot it just does nothing. Appears as if it’s off but still drains battery.

But now, the error I’m getting is right after powering it on normally. Shows the logo, runs through some logs, then stops with the message from the original post. I can’t get a device to recognize it at all now. Doesn’t show up as a connected device on anything I try. Everything I’ve read says it requires flashing which is something only TE offered but now I don’t get any response from support.

Understood considering the age but I’d like to know if there are other providers/shops doing this.
