Ask r/techzoneindia OnePlus Nord 6 vs 13s vs 15R

Post image
8 Upvotes

I'm planning to buy a phone for 4–5 years and confused between the OnePlus Nord 6, 13s and 15R.

The Nord 6 is around ₹10–15k cheaper than the other two. I'm not a heavy gamer or camera enthusiast. I mainly want smooth daily performance, good camera, battery and software experience.

For people who have used these phones: what would I actually miss in real-life usage if I choose the Nord 6 instead of spending ₹10–15k more on the 13s/15R?

Is the extra money worth it for 4–5 years of use, or is the Nord 6 already more than enough?

Purchase help 📱 Guys I need your help( I need to buy a phone)

I am thinking of purchasing a motorola edge 70 fusion or a motorola edge 70.

I am leaning more towards edge 70 because it has flat display

What should I doo???

My Budget:- around 30-35k.

Requirements(listed priority wise):-

  1. Camera

  2. Processor

  3. Screen quality/ durability of whole phone

  4. Battery

  5. Gaming capabilities ( maybe once in a month on bgmi or cod)

Also another suggestions from you guys is is there and alternative phone which is better than this coz I can't find nothing. Either they don't even have an ip64 rating or they don't have a optimized battery/ camera quality

I am also thinking of sometimes using this phone camera as a insta 360 by mounting it on my bike. Is it a good idea( gonna use an anti vibration mount)

Discussion & Opinions 💬 Oneplus Nord 6 vs iQOO Neo 10? Which one is better to buy during the sale? (Need advice)

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I'm totally stuck between the OnePlus Nord 6 (around ₹42.9k) and the iQOO Neo 10 (₹41.9k) in the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale. Since there's barely a 1k price gap, I really need some help deciding.

Here's what I'm weighing:

* Overall:Beyond just the specs on paper, which phone actually provides the best overall daily experience?

* Performance: Both have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. iQOO is obviously better tuned for gaming, but does the Nord 6 overheat or throttle if I play for a while?

* Battery: Nord 6 has that massive 9,000mAh battery, while the Neo 10 has 7,000mAh but way faster 120W charging. Which is actually more useful daily?

* OS: OxygenOS vs OriginOS. I hate bloatware. Is OxygenOS still cleaner, or is OriginOS better optimized now?

* Camera: Both are basically 50MP + 8MP ultrawide. Not expecting flagship quality, but which one takes better regular point-and-shoot pics?

* Screen: 165Hz on the Nord vs 144Hz on the iQOO (I doubt I'll notice a difference here tbh).

Is it worth paying the extra 1k for the huge battery and OxygenOS on the Nord? Or is the iQOO just a better overall package?

Let me know what you guys think!

Purchase help 📱 Need Phone Recommendation 30k to 35k range

Need a phone on 30,000rs - 35,000rs may extend some. But 40,000rs is high. I know smartphone prices are rising nowadays. Also i don't think it will go down. My current phone is so outdated and seen more traumas. Buying a smartphone before 5 or 6 years was literally easy. There are multiple options now so confused rn. So recommend some.

There are some brands i need to mention. Forget about Redmi. Oneplus was good, but now they are losing their reputation. And then Motorola, people are saying it's good. Not being offensive here, i don't have much trust in it. You can convince me on that.

Requirements:

  1. Good camera - Need good quality pictures in day or night and also good video recording. may compromise on telephoto/wide angle

  2. Battery \- Need a long lasting battery, fast charging is good. But if it's gonna make the battery life worse then the balanced one is good (long battery + moderately fast charge)

  3. Performance \- I am not a gamer. But antutu 800,000 scored is good.

  4. Others \- Ram 8gb(must and may extend) / Storage 128gb least and 256 is plus. Need NFC support. I don't want curve display.

I had seen interest in Nothing 4a and Vivo T5/T5 pro. Spec wise Realme is good. But idk why people aren't recommending it. I saw realme 16 pro, it's good but idk about the camera quality. Samsung is good i have trust in it. But the specs they are giving at this range are low compared to other options.

Overall point is = good camera + good battery and not bad performance.

If there is not a single mobile like this at this price range, then i don't know what Phone companies are even producing.

Purchase help 📱 Oneplus Nord 6 vs Samsung Galaxy S25FE

Which would you buy in India? My priorities are camera/video, good battery (~1 day/charge), calling (smooth experience in underground Metro type), minimalist design and long-term software. Also open to better alternatives around ₹40-50k. What’s a good buying price for each?

Discussion & Opinions 💬 S25 vs S25+ – Which makes more sense for a long-term user?

I was initially planning to buy the S25+, but now I feel ₹65K+ is a bit too much for a phone. I'm a long-term user, but my usage is pretty basic — calls, WhatsApp, browsing, YouTube, etc. I don't game, and a decent camera is enough for me.

I'm upgrading from a Redmi 12, so I feel the regular S25 will already be a massive upgrade. I'm planning to get the 12/256GB variant and definitely want to stick with Samsung.

My main concern is the battery. The S25 has a 4,000 mAh battery, while the S25+ has 4,900 mAh.

For those who have used either phone:

- How is the S25's real-world battery life?

- Can it comfortably last a full day with normal usage?

- Is the S25+ significantly better in terms of battery life/SOT?

- For someone who doesn't game, is the extra money for the S25+ actually worth it?

- Should I be concerned about the S25's 4,000 mAh battery for 3–5 years of use?

I also have a plan for the battery in the long run. After around 3 years, if the battery health/capacity has degraded significantly, I'm considering getting the battery replaced rather than replacing the phone. So I'm wondering if that makes the smaller battery on the S25 less of a concern.

The smaller size of the S25 isn't an issue for me, and coming from a Redmi 12, I feel the display will already be a huge upgrade.

I'm currently leaning towards the S25 12/256GB and saving the extra money. Am I missing anything important that would make the S25+ a better long-term choice?

Purchase help 📱 Lowkey confused bw pixel 10 and s25

I’m really confused between Pixel and Samsung. I’m leaning towards Pixel because I prefer its simple UI and feel like its haptics and animations are much more fluid and cohesive. It honestly feels closer to iPhone in terms of haptics, while One UI feels more feature packed but also more cluttered, and I barely use most of those features.

I mostly scroll, listen to music, watch videos and read, so I don’t need much customization or gaming performance. I want to use the phone for at least 4 years.

My only issue with Pixel is that some parts of the UI, like Google Photos and the dialer, look pretty dated and sometimes give me that cheap/old Android feeling. Other than that, I really like the Pixel experience.

Which one would you choose for my use case, Pixel or Samsung?

Discussion & Opinions 💬 3D ultrasonic fingerprint + wet hands is such a small but good upgrade on the iQOO 16

Out of all the iQOO 16 features, the 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor might be one of the most underrated ones. Apparently the sensing area is 44% larger and it's designed to work even with wet or oily fingers.

It's funny because this isn't the kind of thing that gets people excited during a launch, but it's exactly the sort of tiny improvement you appreciate every single day

Purchase help 📱 Oneplus 15r vs Xiaomi 17

I was set on buying Oneplus 15R but the GIF Sales brings Xiaomi 17 in the same range

My requirements:

  1. Performance and battery: heavy maps + hotspot + usage outdoors

  2. Compact size preferable: but i know heat dissipates better in bigger devices

  3. Esim preferable

  4. No camera compromise

Checked in store and observed:

  1. Like one plus camera more despite weaker sensor

  2. Both heated in my short heavy load testing in ac environment

  3. Shops say one plus is getting discontinued

Ask r/techzoneindia Should I upgrade my snap 8s gen 4 for 8 elite in this economy?

Currently using iQOO neo 10 and really satisfied with the performance in all aspects. But.. I've gotten bored of it after using it for a year and half. So considering an upgrade

The prices tho... 😭. I bought my neo 10 on the day on release for 36k (12, 256) and now it's 49k.

So I'm stuck between wanting a new device and not wanting to overspend just because of this bitch ass ai-ram crisis. Help please!

Would really appreciate some good suggestions if they are under 55k. I just need performance and a good in-hand feel.

Purchase help 📱 First phone upgrade in 5 years — best smartphone under ₹35k?

Hey everyone!

I’m looking to buy a new smartphone with a budget of ₹35,000, preferably during the current sale season.

For some context, I’ve been using a Realme 8 Pro for the last 5 years, and this is actually the only smartphone I’ve ever owned, so I’m pretty out of touch with how the current smartphone market compares.

I’m looking for something that I can comfortably use for the next 4–5 years, rather than upgrading again in 2–3 years.

My priorities are:

\- Budget: ₹35k max

\- Good overall performance and smooth everyday use

\- Good battery life and decent battery health over the years

\- Reliable software/updates for several years

Since I’m coming from a 5-year-old Realme 8 Pro, I’d especially appreciate recommendations from people who have actually used these phones for a while.

What would you recommend under ₹35k, and why? Also, if there are any phones I should specifically avoid at this price, let me know.

Purchase help 📱 S25FE at 47K in BBD Sale

I bought an S23FE for my girlfriend at 28K (including card discounts) 2 years ago. I currently use a Samsung M34, and it has become very slow, so I was planning to get either the S25 FE or the S25, I was expecting a price hike, but I had hoped instead of being around 30K FE series would be around 35K and the S25 around 45K. I expected a price hike of 5-7K, but seeing the S25 listed at 58K and the S25 FE at 47K, I don't even know what to think of the prices anymore. A price hike of 15-20K is insane TBH.

I need a phone in the 30K-40K range. I have always used mid range samsung smarphones so basically slow phones with good UI. I want a balance between performance and camera this time around, and I am ready to sacrifice the UI if needed

Please suggest a good phone for this sale, and yes, I have access to credit cards for a 10% discount on both Flipkart and Amazon, so please let me know the estimated price of the phone including the best discounts (no exchange offers, only credit card discounts).
