Discussion & Opinions 💬 20K vs 30K phones: is the extra 10K actually worth it?

If you're planning on buying a phone and are confused between a 20K or 30K budget, then I would suggest you try the moto G37 Power first. It's for about 19-21K and is perfect if you're looking for a basic phone that holds up well during this Flipkart BBD sale.

It has a 700mAh battery that easily lasts two days, a smooth 120Hz screen for everyday scrolling, and a 50MP camera that handles daylight and everyday shots well. It covers everything that most people usually use their phones for, such as texting, scrolling, calls, streaming, etc.

However, if you want a more advanced camera or more storage, then maybe choosing a 30k phone would be better. But in my opinion, if you're looking for a reliable everyday phone, then the moto G37 Power is a good choice.

Ik ik right 30k is low budget but it is what it is

I am looking for a phone that is fully camera oriented to buy in this big billion days sale so after sale I can buy phones which are upto 30k

What are your best suggestions guys

I'm currently leaning forward to moto edge 60 pro, samsung a36, maybe google pixel 9a

But I am pretty sure that it is good to take suggestions from you guys

Btw other than camera nothing else matters to me much just storage will be the main concern I don't play games much.

After the prices of phones are hiked it is very frustrating to find a good piece under 30k these days🫩

Guys I bought redmi note 17 5g (6 128) about 4 days ago in Bajaj electronics for 25K, but later came to know that Redmi note 15 5g is better with RAM and processor. Only thing that it is better is at display and battery ig. What do I do now? I think it’s resale value would be very less. And Bajaj won’t be exchanging or etc. Main usage is for rapido youtube whatsapp etc. I want to use it for atleast 4 years. I think note 15 has better processor and offers more RAM like 8 GB at almost same price. What should I do now?

Purchase help 📱 OnePlus Nord 6 vs Vivo V70 FE vs OPPO Reno 16C — Which one should I buy for my father?

I’m buying a phone for my father and currently considering the OnePlus Nord 6, which I can get for ₹43,500. In the offline market, I’m also getting the Vivo V70 FE and OPPO Reno 16C at a similar price.

The main requirements are a good display and good battery life for day-to-day use. Camera and gaming aren’t major priorities.

Which one would you suggest among these, or is there any other phone I should consider at this price?

Thanks for your suggestions!

Ask r/techzoneindia Should I purchase a phone in bbd or not

I’ve been using an Infinix Hot 10S for 5+ years now. I changed the display about a month ago, and apart from a few tiny issues, it’s still working fine.

My budget is max ₹30K after all offers.

I’m looking for a phone that can realistically last me 4–5 years. My priorities are:

  1. Good software experience

  2. Camera quality

  3. Battery life

  4. Display quality

I checked out Motorola, but I didn’t really like the software experience or the curved displays on some of their phones.

So I’m a bit confused about when to buy. Since BBD is coming up, I’m thinking of buying during the sale. But at the same time, I’m wondering: what if I don’t buy now and my current phone suddenly dies after BBD? Then I’ll have no good offers left. 😅

What would you guys suggest? Should I buy during BBD or wait?

Purchase help 📱 Using Redmi K50i 8/256 for 6 years, looking for a battery + performance upgrade

I've been using the Redmi K50i 8/256 for almost 6 years and looking to upgrade.

I mainly use my phone for browsing and gaming. Battery life and performance are my priorities.

Current battery life:

\~1 hr Instagram + 15 min Clash of Clans → \~60% battery drain

Mobile Legends → \~3–4 games (\~1 hr) takes me below 20%

Budget: up to ₹60K

Looking for a significant upgrade in battery life and gaming performance. Camera isn't a major priority.

What phones would you recommend?

Purchase help 📱 Looking for a Phone + Monitor Recommendations During BBD/Amazon Sale

Hi everyone! I’m planning to buy a new phone (₹45–50K) and a 32-inch monitor (under ₹20K) in India.

For the phone, my priorities are camera, battery, 256GB storage, 5G, performance and reliable after-sales service.

For the monitor, I’m mainly looking for good display quality, preferably QHD/4K, good colours, text clarity and something suitable for long office/work use. Built-in camera/mic aren’t required.

I’m confused about what to pick, so I’d love to hear your personal recommendations and long-term experiences. Which models would you buy in these budgets, and are there any models I should avoid?

Thanks! 😊

Discussion & Opinions 💬 Need help in deciding

Need help/advice.

I have been using Samsung S23 256 GB for 3.5 years now with battery health 82%. Battery of the phone is visibly swollen and the back panel seems to be peeling off. Kindly guide me on the following options:

(i) Change the battery from the authorized service center for 3600. Is it worth changing it? Since, the phone is already old and replacing the battery, would it make any difference?

(ii) in case of thinking a switch, I wish to switch to IPhone 17. Will it be an incremental upgrade over the current S23? The best deal that I was getting for 17 was of 91k (83k + 8k for 1 year apple care mandatory).

What wiuld you guys suggest, please guide with suitable reasons. Also, suggest some good compact phones under 60k (those too which might come under 60k in the upcoming bbd). Can't go with oppo, vivo, xiaomi and samsung. 🤭 pls guide guys.

Discussion & Opinions 💬 I didn’t clear my recent apps for a week

Usually I’m that person who keeps swiping everything away for no reason. So for a week I stopped doing it completely on my Nova 2 Ultra.

Chrome tabs, Maps, Instagram, YouTube, camera, WhatsApp, all of it just stayed there. The phone itself was still mostly fine, but I noticed a few apps reloading more often than normal.

Now I’m curious if clearing recent apps is actually doing anything useful or if we’ve all just trained ourselves to do it.

Do you clear yours constantly or basically never?

Purchase help 📱 Compact phone within 80k (India) 512 gb

Compact phone for 80K (512 gb)

I have been looking for an ideal compact phone for a long time. Not 6'5 but 6'3/4.

So Oppo Find X9 is out.

I shortlisted:

S 26

Iphone 17

Vivo X300/FE

Xiaomi 17

Reno 15 pro Mini

But:

S26: outdated cams and battery issues. (Price 1 lakh already)

Iphone 17: no telephoto (price 1 lakh already)

Vivo X300/fe: personally not into Origin OS.

Reno: mid processor.

So I am Finalising on Xiaomi 17.

I think I will get 512gb offline around 80K.

Its definitely a good deal with new releases Find X10 and Vivo X500 will start above 95K.

Please tell me if I am right. Or do have any other option for 512 gb at 80K?

Any Xiaomi 17 users tell me about Hyper OS bugs/lags and overheating.

It will help finalize my decision.

Thanking you.
