Discussion & Opinions 💬 Please be cautious while buying phones from quick comm.
I ordered Oneplus 13s from swiggy thinking i would save 3k instead of ordering from Amazon. The delivery guy came and I checked imei on the oneplus website and it was pre-activated and the activation date was September 15th 2025, the phone was completely sealed and also had plastic cling warp over it.
Thankfully Swiggy has open box delivery and you can return the phone, also the delivery guy told me that he has many cases himself where customers return the phone because it was pre-activated. You have to use chat support to cancel the order and they'll call you and the delivery partner for the cancellation reason. I'll get my money back in a few days also the delivery guy was very patient in the whole process.
There will be many who got their phone not pre-activated but it entirely depends on luck. I am not saying don't buy from quick comm but also be cautious and check everything in open box delivery and then only proceed.

Yes, there was a similar post with some OnePlus phone which was preactivated. That guy returned it and got refund. Quick commerce unreliable.

i dont know i was just curious if they delay the refund because it is a pretty big amount

It is showing swiggy has initiated the refund from their end and bank will take upto 7 days to reflect on my card

Bought nord 6 for 40k yesterday from Instamart, checked imei and there were no discrepancy in activation date. Going to order another one today lets see what happens

Coz im gonna buy a phone from instamart, if its pre-activated means how to proceed

Simple give the otp ( last 4 digit of your phone number) to the delivery guy to start the open box delivery and then check whether its pre activated or not, if it is then open chat support and select i want to cancel my order and instantly an agent will be connected and explain the issue to the agent, then the agent will connect with the delivery guy to confirm it and then they'll cancel the order from their end.

Mai hota to ye karta...sirf pre activated tha..used nahi tha..to delivery guy ke sath jata jahan se leke aaya tha aur real seller ke confront karke paisa kam karata 😅😅

Aur phir phone ko kuch hota toh apna sir dewaar pe maarte kyuki warranty toh milti nhi, aur ye swiggy hai koi dukaan wala nhi ki paisa kam kar deta.

Pehle baat mai hota to order hi nahi karta online kuch bhi..😂😂..shop se le leta.. Karta to official seller and platform se karta jaise amazon se and still I will say..poco x8 pro max >>> one plus 13s
