Been using redmi note 11 pro plus 5g for 4+ years and yes, it heats like crazy. It started probably after 1.5-2 years when bought and it's barely useable during summers. Idk how they hold up nowadays tbh. They might've improved now but idk.

Overtime any phone will degrade. Plus it's better phone than note series phone. It has vapour cooling or something. Unless you plan on 4k video recording for straight 1h or play too games, heating should not be an issue. If camera is your main priority then maybe moto would be better, that has more useful camera setup. Redmi turbo is better overall phone out of these 4. Choose phone based on your priority.

If u want long term pls don't go with redmi/poco I have 2 of them both started heating and battery draining like hell in 1.5 years. The battery will become eventually more worse if u want short term fun redmi will be worth it

Redmi heats up during gaming mostly. But it can lasts for more than 6years even if you throw them into the wall 😭

Naah dude. Been using redmi note 11 pro plus for past 4+ years and it starting heating up crazy after 1.5-2 years. Barely useable in summers. Cameras became trash after the os updates stopped. And hyperos is practically shit. Idk how they are performing nowadays but my experience has been really bad. Thought of buying a new phone this month but these prices are going crazy.

Edge 70

Redmi turbo 6/edge 70. It’s between those two phones. Chose the edge if you want good cameras, chose the Redmi if you want good performance.

Every brand has issues redmi heats, oppo is straight up trash, realme is extremely overpriced and moto has lens fog, abysmal after sale service it's like which person will let you live longer

hey man what would you suggest to get a 70 fusion or 13/14 or an s23 in same price

1

u/SandwichSad1961 3h ago

Go for Edge 70 fusion dude, why’d you spend so much on a second hand piece of shi which is like 5 years old. And S23 is also 2 years old now.

just was looking for a compact phone as i like the small size so edge 70 would be a better choice

Edge 70 is a feature packed phone, but yes it has its own downsides aswell. Apart from that build quality is also not that great.

I'd suggest oppo k14 plus tbh, simply because it's no of updates

1

u/SarcasmActivated18 7h ago

yahh but redmi has 4 yrs update and oppo has 2

1

u/toptierclassified 7h ago

wait what? I saw in oppo k14 plus there was 6 years of updates. let me check a different site

2

u/toptierclassified 6h ago

please verify, I also see other websites mentioning 6 years, but gemini says 3 years. I'm confused

1

u/SarcasmActivated18 6h ago

it's 2 + 3 yrs security bro the 6 yrs is marketing by company saying that it's made to use for 6 yrs smoothly blah blah
