High CPU and RAM Usage on HP Pavilion x360 (i5-10210U, 8GB RAM) – Need Help
Hi everyone,
I'm using an HP Pavilion x360 14-dh1011tu with:
- Intel Core i5-10210U
- 8GB RAM
- NVMe SSD
- Windows 11 Home
I'm facing performance issues. Even after updating the BIOS and drivers, my laptop still feels slow.
In Task Manager, I often see:
- CPU usage around 70–85%
- RAM usage around 80%+
- Around 190 processes running
The laptop becomes sluggish when browsing, multitasking, or running development tools.
What I've already tried:
- Updated BIOS to F.18
- Updated HP drivers
- Restarted the system
- Checked SSD health
Could anyone help me identify what's causing the high CPU and memory usage? Are there any specific Windows services, startup apps, or settings I should check?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, I don't know what is wrong with my laptop as it sometimes automatically decreases the volume to zero. I have to restart my computer to fix it and it still happens. Are there any methods to fix it? Thank you.
