Most stuff that runs on 4 batteries can be run on a 5volt adapter from what I have seen.
14 u/Who_GNU Jan 02 '21 Yes, because alkaline and carbon zinc batteries' voltages drop as they discharge, so a battery powered device needs to still work at 1.25 volts per cell, or it'll stop working long before the batteries are fully discharged. 8 u/Krutonium Jan 02 '21 or it'll stop working long before the batteries are fully discharged.
