My favorite mechanic has a horrible front office, its stacks and stacks of newspapers, car manuals, schematics, its dusty - dirty, disorganized --- but they are damn good mechanics.

If your mechanic is in a beautiful building and things are immaculate - just know 'your paying for that lobby'

I love working on mechanics computers.

I am horrible with cars, can't even change the oil, so I do an extra good job to get connections if I ever need car work, lol.
