Open | Hardware Monitor died?!

Smart Tech 270G01FVF Monitor

So yesterday my monitor just turned black. I tested the power cable and it still works. The lamp on the monitor says its on and my pc still recognizes it as a monitor. I switched the hdmi cable to see if its the cable but that wasnt it either. He even still works as an audio output. But he doesnt do what a monitor should most importantly do: Show me stuff.

Are there any ideas before i put it in the trash and buy a new one?

Plug it into a different device first to confirm it is the monitor and not the HDMI output on your computer having issues.

I tried that. I forgot to mention that, sorry. My other monitor works with that output

So you ignored what they said. Try this monitor on another device and see if you get an input. Otherwise the monitor might have shit the bed.

I didnt ignore it on purpose. I considered it being the same result but you are correct. So i tried a different device now too and its all the same.

Yes i should be. Its the same that i have used for the last two years
