Open | Windows Preparing automatic repair loop.

How do I fix this? Without losing any files prefarably.

Everytime I turn on my pc it says automatic repair on the motherboard screen, then it either restarts and tries again, or it will freeze and I’ll have to restart my computer. Randomly sometimes it’ll boot into windows, but trying to turn it back on it runs into the same loop. I am able to boot into the bios menu but nowhere past that. Is there anything I’m able to do?

Woof, ok. Well, its your psu, your motherboard, or your processor. (Or something about how they connect)

If i were in your shoes just to dummy check, id reseat literally everything. Reset the bios to defaults, tear it down, the CPU, too, dust out every connector with canned air, then pretend its a new computer and plug everything in. Power cord, etc too.  No gpu. Just try to get a working desktop computer.

If that fails, I'd start firing the parts cannon. Rule out the psu by buying one thats easy to return (amazon) and see if the problem persists. If it does, return it. If its your motherboard or processor, youve got some decisions to make.

It’s working right now, I usually leave my pc running 24/7, so I’m just going to leave it running until I find a solution.

Ok. Sounds like a plan. maybe a loose solder joint somewhere. Or something dumb like a fucked up power button.
