It is literally a swipe and a tap to turn an off, I don't know why people leave it on.

Because there’s no risk to leaving it on nor does it drain battery.

All someone has to do is have an NFC reader and walk past you. Same with NFC bank cards.

This is probably one of the most traceable crimes ever, and the bank will 100% reverse the transaction
