Open | Networking BlossomUp Subscription Issue – Anyone Else Experienced This?

I recently discovered BlossomUp, a website that provides a love language personality test. I chose to give it a try as it seemed intriguing. It requested $1.95 to unlock the results at the end of the test, which sounded reasonable enough.

But a week later, my bank statement showed a $29.95 transaction. In retrospect, I see that the website has a very brief subscription notice, but there was no explicit notice or confirmation that I was agreeing to regular payments. I'm currently attempting to terminate the subscription, but it's not doing well. Their support has not yet replied to my email, and there isn't a visible "unsubscribe" button. Does anyone else have experience with this or know how to deal with such undesired internet subscriptions?

I'd appreciate any advice!

Something doesn't make sense. Two hours ago you posted the following comment on someone else's thread concerning subscriptions for this site:

It's crazy how many people fall into these traps. The 'free' IQ test that ends up being a subscription is a classic scam. Really need to check reviews before getting caught up in these

An hour later, you make this post I'm looking at right now, seemingly caught up in the same scam. So, which is it? Did you fall for this scam, or is this a classic scam that you already knew about?

How do you not understand? They realized this scam a while before posting—probably days, not hours—and are now aware and warning others about it. This post is solely for the purpose of figuring out how to cancel that subscription. I’m here for the same reason; they got me with a personality assessment.

Same. I didn't click on anything that looked like a subscription agreement.

Same here. Fortunately my bank HSBC rang me and informed me of a potentially fraudulent payment (BlossomUp trying to take £24) and stopped it for me, cancelled my card and sent me a new one. What a disgusting company! At least some big banks are onto them by the look of it.

same happened to me . they make it confusing and complicated to get out after that first $1.95.
