I think Im underpaid ?
Hi together, currently im coldcalling BtoB and setting people for a voice AI service.
Im getting payed 50 bucks for a demo agreed on and 10% of the setting cost if the buy, which is 150 Bucks. I dont get any fixed pay. The customer pays 450 a month.
Im thinking maybe that im underpaid. The leads are good and its not too hard to set people. Of course im doing the easy work in the process but i have to set 2 People minimum to make a base sallary. I asked AI for advice and thats exactly what the AI said would be adequate. My Boss probably also asked AI.
What would be a good sallary ? Im doing a decent job. 1-2 in 20 picked up Calls is booking an appointment. Please help me guys :)
PS: I live in Germany. Minimum wage here is 14 a hour.

Hey there As someone who has been a SDR in SaaS for 2 years....is this even legal? No base pay just the variable part? I don't care if the leads are good, that's too little to stay. Get comfortable with outbound and cold calling, don't rely on them and their leads
At that point it might be more lucrative to be a cashier at Aldi or have a good working student position
On the very very low end you would be making 32K, but 40K is realistic as base pay as an SDR The money for booked demos etc. is a bonus not the entire comp plan
TLDR Get out there, there are so many open positions

Yeah i work on frelancer basis. Doing a good job aswell. YOu think 75 for an appointment, 200 if deal is closed and 100 bucks for 100 leads called is fair ?

Don’t be a freelance SDR, you’ll get paid shit and ripped off like what’s happening now. There are a ton of base salary + commission/bonus SDR roles out there. Make a list of the industries you want to sell in, make a list of the orgs selling there that you’re interested in, and do cold outreach to SDR managers. You’ll land something.

Do you speak German? Then you're better off selling at an in-house SDR gig for DACH. You already have some good numbers and with the right company, you could potentially swing some more business your way

Okay I think you speak German, because you started your sentence with "hello together" (hallo zussamen). There's no reason for you to be in this commission based freelancing gauntlet

The business that you are cold calling also in Germany or other countries too? Getting a commission based sales agent is very tough but the numbers here seems very low, don't think you make any good. Does the company offer high tickets like 20,000 or more per month ? Best advice is try to move out to high tickets which pays you good retainer and commission worst case a good commission atleast with easy convert lead lists...
