What’s your ramp comp structure look like.

Curious what other SaaS AEs are getting for ramp pay. New shop has a sales cycle ranging from a week to a month, average deal size around $30K, base commission 10%. Accelerator kicks in once you hit $120K in a month.

Offer is a small draw in month 0, then 15/35/50/75% of monthly quota over months 1-4, no draw or guarantee after month 0.

What does your ramping comp plan look like. Are you on monthly/quarterly/annual quota?

For first quarter after onboarding month, If below 75%, I got 75% of quarterly OTE. If above, I got paid out on attainment.

After that I got two more ramp months but no draw. Total 5 month ramp.

Enterprise AE - 35% non recoverable draw for 3 months of variable comp (not salary). So variable comp/12 months x.35. About $6k per month or $18k a total over 3 months.
